The entire Samburu region is a place of breathtaking and magical beauty, a place where the vision of a deep red sunset silhouetting the doum palms along the river as a leopard emerges to hunt brings the perfect end to a day on safari.
DAY 1: SWEETWATERS WILDLIFE SANCTUARY: Sweetwaters Tented Camp
This morning you will be met at your city hotel by your rep. who will give you a short briefing on your safari. After the safari briefing, depart for Sweetwaters Tented Camp in Ol Pejeta Conversancy. Enjoy a game viewing drive enroute to the camp arriving in time for lunch at the camp. After lunch, take an afternoon game viewing drive in the conservancy which excels in the provision of privileged seclusion and private game viewing. It offers visitors an unforgettable opportunity to watch and photograph animals in their natural habitat. We have lots of animals here e.g. elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes etc. Return to the camp as the sun sets.
Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp on Full Board Basis
DAY 2: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE: Samburu Serena Safari Lodge
After breakfast, drive to the Samburu National Reserve. Rugged and remote, this wildlife reserve provides some of the best and most colourful game viewing in the country. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive until sunset.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge on Full Board Basis
DAY3: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE: Samburu Serena Safari Lodge
Spend another day at your lodge with both morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The main attractions are the resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Return to the lodge as the sun sets.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge on Full Board Basis
DAY 4: DEPARTURE
Early Morning game drive in Samburu before breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, drive to Nairobi, Kenya's colourful capital city. Drop off at Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your onward flight or transfer to your Nairobi Hotel.
