Lamu-Island Villa |
The Villa is a privately-owned three-bed roomed
house in the paradise island of Lamu, on the Indian
Ocean, off the coast of Kenya. Benefit from stunning
beaches and centuries-old Swahili culture!
The house is located between Lamu Town and Shela
village, with a 1/4 acre secluded garden and just
200 m from the sea, in an extremely quiet area.
Enjoy our three bedrooms, two terraces, living room,
equipped kitchen and bathroom. The house can
comfortably sleep six people.
Ben, the manager, will wait for you at the airport /
bus-stop, and assist you in all your needs and
desires (even the most incongruous) during your
stay, while young George, the night watchman, will
entertain you with local stories during your
sun-downer or if sleep escapes you.
Boat trip
(sailing or motor boat), treks, city-tours, on-site
Swahili cook, can be arranged on request.

Hexagon Farm Lodge |
The Lodge, chalets overlook the impressive lake
Naivasha and the Mount Longonot. Three self catering
chalets, each with en-suite bathroom a fully
equipped kitchen and private garden welcome
visitors. In the front the bungalows looking out
into Hells Gate National Park, where you will
experience the beauty of the grate rift valley, with
and its wildlife: Zebra, Impala, Giraffe, Buffalo
and a enormous amount of exotic birds.
We have hundreds of birds and a thousand of
different plants and trees from all over the
country. On the lake shore you can find Hippo's and
Flamingos' and hundreds of other species. Further
activities around Lake Naivasha, are safaris, golf,
fishing, boat trips. |

Ol Donya Wuas |
Kenya is well-known for its beautiful landscapes -
Ol Donyo Wuas and the Chyulu Hills are considered to
be some of the most dramatic. Ol Donyo Wuas is
located on private Maasai owned land; this affords
visitors unique opportunities for cultural
interaction, horse riding, open-vehicle game drives,
night game drives and walking.
The big five is resident on the Ranch although rhino
are hard to see as they live in very dense cover.
Elephants are only resident during the rains. Other
wildlife includes ostrich, oryx, eland, gerenuk,
giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, Thompson's and Grant's
gazelle, Reed buck, cheetah, lion, leopard, hyena,
jackal and Bat-eared fox.
There are 7 individual cottages built with local
materials with spectacular views of Kilomanjaro.
Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom, the
electicity and hot water is generated by a solar
system. Two of the cottages have an additional
bedroom for guests with young children. |

Diamond Beach Village |
Diamond Beach Village is located on the island of
Manda, which is the sister island of Lamu. The lodge
is located on the beach front with amazing views of
the open ocean, Lamu island, Shela village and dhows
sailing past. It is the perfect place to come and
relax for days or weeks, away from the stresses and
strains of everyday life.
Diamond Beach Village offers a substitute to the
concrete hotel, more of a rustic experience. The
village work closely with the local Swahili people
taking into account their culture and only using
local methods and materials to create a refreshing,
eco-friendly, alternative style holiday.
Accommodation at the village comprise of 6 locally
built huts and a tree house, all en-suite with
electricity in the evenings. Surrounded by gardens,
hammocks, rock and drift wood art and bird baths the
village has a fantastic restaurant serving customary
cuisine from 8am-9pm. |
