Samburu Serena Safari Lodge |
The Samburu Serena Safari Lodge is located on the
lush banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, in Kenya's
rugged, semi-arid Northern Province. The parched
ecosystem with its steep sided gullies and concave
hills is subjected to large variations in the animal
population as they move in search of water and
pasture; the reserve is famous for its rare game
including the endangered Grevy's zebra and the beisa
oryx.
Each of 62 rooms with en suite bathrooms is
accommodated in a shingled timber cottage with its
own veranda looking out over the river. The décor
melds world-class luxury with traditional Africa and
features a serene blend of traditional safari
colors, draped nets, soft lamps and striking Samburu
art. The lodge has a swimming pool for those wishing
to cool off after a hard days trekking.
Activities include morning and afternoon game
drives, sitting around the campfire or watching as
the elephant gather by the river, the shy leopard

Lake Naivasha Resort |
Located on the southern shores of Lake Naivasha,
second largest of the only two fresh water lakes in
Kenya's Great Rift Valley, Naivasha Sopa Lodge is an
impressive property with a striking background.
Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge has panoramic views of the
surrounding area and the lake. The rooms feature
open sunken lounges, while upper floor rooms have
their own private balcony on which to relax,
sunbathe or view game. The center restaurant serves

village, separate rondavel “huts” house the luxury
guest rooms that have their own view of the vast

dense rainforest comes alive with the sounds of the
wild, while the rocky peaks of Mount Kenya overlooks
its abundant game. Elephant, buffalo, rhino and

who want to climb Mount Kenya. For those more
sporty, hikes to the top of Mount Kenya, accompanied
